A Priest Forever . . .

A Priest Forever . . .

One of the highest callings for us as believers is to understand our priestly role - ministry to the Lord. This Seminar explores that theme.

About This Seminar

Someone once asked Jesus what was the greatest commandment. Jesus' reply is very important. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength - and your neighbour as yourself." He was saying, long before the Great Commission, that our ministry to the Lord (our priestly function) is of greatest value to God.

When David brought the Ark into Jerusalem he employed over 4,000 musicians and worshippers to worship 24/7 before a box! They were priests to the Lord - we are also called to be a "Kingdom of Priests" - so we need to understand that, without the Great Commandment, we don't have the moral authority to respond to the Great Commission!

God also promised that one day he would re-establish the Tabernacle that David erected in Jerusalem:

Amos 9:11 “On that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old.”

Why the Tabernacle of David?
Because David established it in obedience to the Lord as a pattern for true worship — and God also promised that it would be rebuilt!

God is bringing his church into a fresh new paradigm of his majesty and holiness. The Old and New Testament are being reunited in the person of the Bride! This is the eternal realm of his end-time activity when God is reviving his “called out ones” for the “marriage supper of the Lamb” (Revelation 19:9).

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.”
