Paul and Barnabas set the standard for the church’s mission work when they obeyed God’s call to go. The local body of believers—those left behind in Antioch to share Christ with neighbours and friends—equipped them for their journey.
The purpose of the church is to worship and witness. Some will go and some will send, but all are called to the work of spreading the gospel. This is not a suggestion; it is a command (Matthew 28:19). The believers’ destiny is to be involved in “mission”.
Through Kingdom Enterprise we aim to fulfil that Great Commission - it might be to encourage a small church plant in Denver, Colorado - or it could be feeding Dalit (untouchable) children in Guntur, India - or teaching and training believers in Moscow, Russia. It’s all the same - taking the good news of Jesus to those who don’t know him and equipping God’s people for works of service.
